Hey there! In this post, I’m going to show you how to disable Font Hero and use CSS and other fonts instead. This is perfect if you’re finished designing your website and don’t want to deal with plugin updates anymore.
So, let’s say you’ve already designed your typography and you’re ready to move your website to your customers. First, you’ll need to inspect your website to find the Font Hero CSS. Once you’ve found it, you can copy it and create a new file with the code editor of your choice. For this example, I’ll be using the Script Organizer plugin.
After creating the file, you can disable the Font Hero plugin and publish the new file. If you reload the page and the fonts disappear, don’t worry – this is normal! Once you re-enable the plugin, the fonts will be back.
To improve performance, you can even disable the create file option so that the file is inline. This will save you a bit of time and make your website faster.
And that’s it! Now you can remove the Font Hero plugin from your production website and use other fonts instead. Thanks for reading, and don’t forget to subscribe to our channel for more tips like this. Bye for now!
