Upload area

You can drag and drop one or multiple files into the upload area. it works the same regardless of the number of files. Alternatively, if you prefer not to drag and drop, you can click the ‘Upload a File’ button to open your system’s file browser and select a zip file.

Why multiple theme files?

Many themes also come with a child theme. This feature allows you to upload the main theme and the child theme together with a single drag-and-drop action.

Overwrite existing version

If you want to overwrite a theme on your computer that’s already installed on your WordPress site, WordPress requires an extra step as it’s a two-step process. That’s why this option includes an additional toggle.

Themes download

You don’t need FTP Applications anymore. Use dropdown list and select what plugin you want to download and you will get it as .Zip file.

Single download

Click on the input field, and a dropdown list will be presented. In this list, you will find the names and version numbers of the plugins. You can select one or multiple themes to download.

Once a theme is selected, click on the ‘Download’ button. A browser’s default dialog box will then appear, allowing you to choose where you want to save the file on your computer.

Multiple downloads

You can choose more than one theme to download at once. The selected themes will be added to the list. Once you have finished selecting, just like with a single plugin, click on the ‘Download’ button.
