DevKit

A productivity toolkit for WordPress developers — 17+ tools for cleanup, debugging, file management, and admin control bundled into one plugin.

DevKit is a Swiss-army plugin for WordPress developers. Instead of installing a dozen single-purpose plugins, DevKit ships every-day tools in one focused interface.

Tools included

  • Sync — copy the database, uploads, plugins and themes between two DevKit sites, with URLs rewritten and a safety backup first.
  • Terminal — a command line in wp-admin with WP-CLI included.
  • Adminer — full database admin, opened in its own tab from wp-admin.
  • Files Manager — browse and edit theme/plugin files from the dashboard, with titled revisions you can compare and restore.
  • Plugins, Themes, Users Manager — bulk-manage with filters and quick actions.
  • Search/Replace — safe text replacements across the database, with dry-run.
  • Debug options — toggle WP_DEBUG, query log, and error display.
  • Maintenance Mode — front-end lockout with custom message.
  • Reset — reset the database, content, plugins or themes, with keep lists for what must survive.
  • WP Config — turn WordPress constants such as DISABLE_WP_CRON or DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT on and off without editing wp-config.php.
  • Image Optimization, Server Info, WP Salt, Hide DevKit and more.

DevKit 3.0 rebuilt the admin interface for every module. Some screenshots in these docs still show the 2.x screens.
