WP Salt

WordPress SALT keys enhance security by encrypting login sessions and stored authentication cookies. Changing them:

  • Invalidates Active Sessions – Forces all users to log in again, preventing unauthorized access.
  • Enhances Security – Protects against brute-force attacks and cookie theft.
  • Reduces Risk of Leaks – If an old key is compromised, replacing it secures your site.
